Electric Vehicles Car Suspension - Ruggedised

At Duke Electric Vehicles, I'm part of the suspension team. we are tasked with designing and building the primary step in the mechanical design of the car - the suspension.

The car suspension system I designed prioritizes rugged simplicity and durability for optimal performance. We decided to develop it in-house in order to make it seamlessly integrate with the unique car chassis, enhancing stability and maneuverability. The streamlined design facilitates easy maintenance without compromising resilience. Incorporating high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing, the system would prove to be custom and suited for a simple completion of the design brief. Adaptable features ensure dynamic responses to different driving scenarios, providing comfort and stability. This rugged design reflects our commitment to innovation, offering drivers a reliable and enduring experience. Below is the initial design of this which will see a lot more development in the near future.

The simple design as demonstrated is a work in progress. The general idea remains the same considering the terrain is not rugged for the EcoShell marathon.
